Donating Inventory
Excess Inventory? Overstocks? Write-offs?
Businesses typically do one of three things with problematic inventories:
- Send the product or merchandise to the landfill.
- Liquidate the product, which leaves potential to have the product come back into their primary marketplaces.
- Warehouse the product and pay the price of keeping overstocked inventory.
Creating Options
Structuring corporate inventories as a charitable donation is a powerful way to help invest in your community, and it makes great sense for your business. Your business has an incredible opportunity to convert business assets to support causes that are important to you and your employees. It takes the inventory off your shelves and puts it to work.
What Can be Given?
Through Capitol Ministries National Fund we can accept a variety of inventory donations and sell them through existing domestic and worldwide markets and buyers. Our Inventory Donation Program can help facilitate a variety of inventories including (but not limited to):
- Food, (Canned, Dried)

- Specialty Vehicles
- Toys
- New Clothing (large volumes)

While we can accept a wide range of products, there are some restrictions, so please check with us to see how your inventory can be converted into a charitable donation.
